Well anyway it has been the funniest day of the week for me even though I got drenched (good old England hehe) The Gala is litraly this thing the council do every year in August where there are different stools,boucy castles,circus,karts and dundundun BURGER VAN!! Also which is a bonus is Philippa's family her mum,grandma, grandad and auntie go there and have a stool and everything,there are like the loveliest people you could meet,honestly.
Every year theres a masoct and they are way too cool,they give you high fives alot. Last year we had a mouse and it like proper got involved;)
Then this year there was a lion,it wasnt that much involved as last year but it was still pretty cool haa.
Ew! Not exactly the nicest photo of me but them two girls are my bestfriends and the lion was well...AMAZING. And you may can tell that my hair is a different colour,which is because I dyed it reddy brownish.
After eating chips and hotdogs at the burger van hehe;) We got tickets to the circus which was in the middle of the field. Do you think we were too old to? Course not we may be 13 nearly 14 but hey we can still enjoy things a 3 year old would enjoy. Anyway there was various acts such as jungling, balancing plates silly jokes,the usual. It was so funny this man was jungling these hoops and he slipped over because the recent act was using water. It was bloomin hilarious! He jumped up and was like 'not part of the act not part of the act'. Here are some pictures that my bestfriend Philippa took,its abit low because we didnt want to look like idiots.Theres only a few but you get the point.
During the circus i recieved a message saying I had to go home as my dad was on his way to pick me up but I didnt dare to stand up during the thing so i just left when it finished. Luckily, I wasn't late but with my luck and the British weather,it absolutly chucked it down and there was thunder lightening the whole lot. At first i thought the thunder was my belly rumbling but for once it wasnt haaa. But serioulsly ive never been so wet in my life ,my hair was dripping and my shoes are ruined. This picture is awful but it may give you the idea.
As I was so so so wet I decided to get my self in some comfy clothes and put a towel on my head (like a cool kid) so my hair could dry. Hehe I look just..ew but who cares.
Overall it was a fun day, phil recorded it and soon it will be on our vlog channel so go check it out :D
